Food Adventure

Phileas Fogg first found the Fuego Chicken Fajita Tortilla Chips on his way to his best friend’s house in Spain for a “Friends giving” amongst all of his close friends. His great grandmother made him his favorite dish, “Chicken Fajita’s with peppers.” His day first started off as he was on his way from his night class to his best friend’s house. On his way there Phileas Fogg got a flat tired due to a nail on the road leaving him in the middle of almost nowhere. His phone was on low battery so that was no help. He decided not to miss this Friends giving and started to walk the way to his best friend’s house with his dish in his backpack.  “….to make a plan for achieving a goal and especially a military or political goal : to form a strategy” On  his way there he encountered a pack of wolves that were able to smell the fajitas as Phileas walked by so he had no choice but to run from those wolves. When running was not an option he had to use his karate fighting skills to fight them off. As he caught his breath he realized that he was about 10 minutes away. He realized that he forgot to bring his favorite tortillas to go along with those chicken fajitas his great grandma made. He made a quick stop at the nearest gas station but he had no luck finding tortillas, instead he brought some tortilla chips thinking that idea would work. As soon as he got to his best friend’s house he shared his story amongst everyone as everyone feasted with so much food. He fell in love with the idea of having tortilla chips and fajitas together.  "A good marketing strategy should be drawn from market research and focus on the right product mix in order to achieve the maximum profit potential and sustain the business. "
best friend suggested to him to add a little hint of lemon. That’s when he came up with, “What if there were Chicken Fajitas made into Tortilla Chips” that way they can be a “on the go” snack when no one would ever have to cook fajitas when they have little to no time. Marketing Strategy: "An organization's strategy that combines all of its marketing goals into one comprehensive plan. "

Evaluation

To help us give an evaluation to our new lemon chicken fajita flavored tortilla chips we will give our consumers the opportunity to send us as much feedback as possible. This will help us to improve our product. “…evaluations are done to determine the value… Market evaluations are done with a specific area in mind, over a certain period of time and often other factors used to narrow down” Not only will this help us improve, but this will also give us the chance to come up with a new flavor. A flavor might be: Lemon Chicken Fajita Tortilla Chips with ranch seasoning. Only our consumers are able to help us with coming up with new ideas. We love to have our consumers content and coming back for more, this gives us the opportunity to reach out to our consumers in order to help better our brand. We want to provide our customers with the best in quality, convenience, and value. Evaluation means "the making of a judgment about the amount, number, or value of something; assessment."

Distribution

Distribution is done at a distribution center which is a "large, highly automated warehouse designed to receive goods from various plants and suppliers, take orders, fill them efficiently, and deliver goods to customers as quickly as possible." For our distribution process our warehouses will operate two different trucks for delivery. We will also have another vehicle to do any special deliveries and all special deliveries will be scheduled within our delivery days and times. All deliveries will be made from Monday through Friday and will have a travel time for each delivery. We will get to at least 20 to 40 requests per day. As more consumers start to want more and more deliveries we will soon begin to get more delivery trucks to make this process much easier for us. "process of supplying goods to stores and other businesses that sell to consumers." As we get more delivery trucks we will soon begin to change our routes to best suit our delivery times and requests. Our delivery times will start from 5am and go on all the way until 7pm.
