company has given potential for women in Africa, “creating a safe environment for them to develop valuable skills for
the workforce.” (Fair Trade USA) This company helps to create several jobs
for people who are skilled artisans currently in Africa. The materials used to
create these shoes come from other locations within Africa. “Becoming the world's first Fair Trade
Certified footwear manufacturing factory was a rigorous process, but we did it
because we believe this partnership will make us better as a company and
employer,” (Tal Dehtiar) Fair Trade USA is a nonprofit organization, this
certifier makes sure that any transactions within companies and their suppliers
give their farmers and workers fair pay. Oliberte helps support all workers’
rights who currently live in Africa. “This

First Oliberte started off being a small company of footwear and partnered with
suppliers and factories based in Africa. From that start they have opened up
