Distribution

Distribution is done at a distribution center which is a "large, highly automated warehouse designed to receive goods from various plants and suppliers, take orders, fill them efficiently, and deliver goods to customers as quickly as possible." For our distribution process our warehouses will operate two different trucks for delivery. We will also have another vehicle to do any special deliveries and all special deliveries will be scheduled within our delivery days and times. All deliveries will be made from Monday through Friday and will have a travel time for each delivery. We will get to at least 20 to 40 requests per day. As more consumers start to want more and more deliveries we will soon begin to get more delivery trucks to make this process much easier for us. Our delivery times will start from 5am and go on all the way until 7pm.
